DUMFRIES’ Calvin Harris has been listed as one of the UK’s hardest-working male music stars according to recent research.
Spin Genie UK analysed the work ethic of male musicians across the country, their number of shows, show locations in the UK and worldwide, their most streamed song and how much it is streamed, and their estimated earnings to rank them on a score out of ten.
Calvin Harris, the Dumfries-born DJ, record producer, singer and songwriter was mentioned as the seventh hardest working, above Paul McCartney and Lewis Capaldi, but below Skrillex, Robbie Williams, Elton John and Ed Sheeran.
Calvin has performed at 530 shows across his career across 47 locations, with 122 shows performed in the UK and 408 internationally.
His most-streamed song, ‘One Kiss’ has been replayed over two million times, and has grossed nearly £7 million alone.
Overall, the Scottish musician has been nominated for 115 awards and won 31 across his storied career.
