Supergrass to headline festival

EDEN Festival will return to Annandale this summer with some big name headline acts.

Supergrass and Coolio/Basement Jaxx will perform at the event on the Raehills Meadows, near Moffat, which runs from June 9-12.

With five Top 10 albums, ten Top 20 singles, Brit and Ivor Novello-winning Oxford ‘Alright’ Rockers Supergrass will be bringing three decades of top tunes to South West Scotland.

And renowned dance act DJs Basement Jaxx, made up of Felix Buxton and Simon Ratcliffe, will be getting the crowd grooving with one of their legendary DJ sets.

In total, there will be over 300 acts throughout the weekend, including Craig Charles Funk and Soul Club, Colonel Mustard and the Dijon 5, Hollie Cook, Mungo’s Hi Fi and La La.

The ten stages will cover all musical bases from world to funk, classical to jungle, indie to acoustic, dancehall to folk, and everything in between.

Festival director Hannah Gould said: “We are so excited to welcome everyone back to the Garden for Eden 2022. After two years we are planning on bringing you the best Eden yet! If you want to dance the night away, chill out around the fire or hang about in the best festival tavern ever, we have your back.

“With a killer line up and an amazing site we have a feeling the garden might eat us all this time!”

And she revealed that more live acts will be confirmed soon.
