Some like it hot

MOFFAT'S answer to Marilyn Monroe, Rachel Steventon, was celebrating Moffat Movies at The Old Well Theatre’s expansion earlier this week.

Up-to-date films are shown at the theatre in Moffat, usually on the first Saturday of the month but now Moffat Movies Wednesday Matinees, showing old, classic and foreign films, has been introduced.

Some Like It Hot starring Marilyn Monroe, Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon was the first vintage film to kick start the new matinee showings.

Organisers Rick and Norma Fears would love to hear from anybody who is interested in helping, especially in choosing the next batch of films.

They can be contacted on 01683 220367
