Police are investigating the incident, which happened between 10 am and 6 pm on Sunday at a house in Baird Way, Kirkcudbright.
Constable John Brown, of Police Scotland at Kirkcudbright, said: “We are keen to hear from anyone who may have been in the area and saw anything suspicious.”
