DIG out your brollies and your wellies for tomorrow’s Moffat Show is set to be a wet one.

Despite the soggy forecast, the organisers are hopeful of a good turnout.

And they say entries have been high for the cattle, sheep, horses and pony sections, while entries for the dog show, lambing and walking sticks and vintage tractors can all be made on the day.

Meanwhile, the tents will be bursting at the seams with home industries and horticulture entries.

It all gets underway at Raehills Meadows at 9.30 am, with judging starting at 10 am.

The champion of champions is expected to be announced in the main ring at about 2 pm and will be judged by A Wight, from Crawford.

Away from the animals, there will also be a craft marquee, stalls, entertainment and attractions through the day, including pig racing, a sheaf tossing and a tractor pull.

To round off this year’s show, Annandale Young Farmers are holding a dance in the main marquee at night.
