SEWERS are being sought to take part in a charity sewathon in Dumfries on Monday evening.

Organised by Girl Up and MOOL, participants will be getting together to make reusable sanitary pads to help save the planet and reduce period poverty. And donations of fabric and thread are needed, as well as loans of sewing machines.

Anyone who wishes to take part, can turn up at Dumfries Academy from 4.30 to 9 pm on Monday, or email [email protected]
