Ready to rally

THE region is gearing up for the RSAC Scottish Rally, launched this week by Councillor Colin Smyth and rally driver Niall Cowan Jnr. It takes place in Ae and Eskdalemuir forests on Saturday June 25 with a bumper entry of 110 crews from 10 countries setting off from Dumfries town centre. Cllr Smyth is looking forward to it and said: "The adrenalin is beginning to kick in as we gear up for another superb weekend of world class action."
