Rally driver admits speeding

SCOTTISH rally champion David Bogie has been fined £200 in court – on a speeding charge.

The 29-year-old also had three points endorsed on his licence at Dumfries JP Court.

Bogie, of Redbank House, New Abbey Road, Dumfries, who did not appear personally, admitted driving at 53 miles an hour in the 30 limit a short distance from his home in May.
