A LOCKERBIE man has been left with serious injuries after he was attacked in his own home.

The 39-year-old Ivy Place resident is believed to have suffered two broken legs and a head injury after three men entered his home at around 4 pm on Saturday afternoon.

Police Scotland officers say the man’s injuries are not life threatening, but he was taken to hospital for treatment.

Detective sergeant Graeme Robertson, from Dumfries and Galloway CID, said: “We are urging anyone with information on who is responsible for this attack to please come forward.

“We are also keen to hear from anyone with CCTV from the area, or any motorists who were near Ivy Place around the time of the incident and may have potential dashcam footage.

“If you believe you can assist our investigation, please call 101, quoting incident 2620 of 20 November. Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, if you wish to remain anonymous.”
