Professor Barsby, above, is a plant geneticist with significant experience in the agricultural crop sector, having spent several years in North America and 18 years working for the French owned seed business, Group Limagrain.
She is an associate of the Royal Agricultural Society and was awarded an OBE in the 2018 New Year’s honours list for services to agricultural sciences and biotechnology.
