OFFICIAL advice on the Galloway National Park proposal was this week passed to the Scottish Government. NatureScot confirmed that on Monday they provided their advice to Scottish Ministers, completing their formal requirements as the Reporter for the proposal for a National Park locally. In a statement, the organisation said: “Our advice will be accompanied by a series of reports, including the detail of our analysis of the public consultation between November to February and an independent review of our engagement and consultation work. “The advice and accompanying reports will now be considered by Scottish Ministers, then laid before the Scottish Parliament and published before its summer recess.”
