Panel night looks to the future

WILL farming of the future be focused on beef, sheep or dairy?

That's the question to be answered at a panel night in Castle Douglas next week.

The event at the Market Inn on January 15 is being organised by NFU Dumfries and Galloway.

A spokesperson said: "Everyone is welcome to our NFUS D&G Panel night 'The Future is Bright - but does it bleat or bellow?

"We’ll hear from a panel of enthusiastic livestock advocates but will team beef, team sheep, or team dairy come out on top? Join us for an upbeat, light-hearted battle of the beasts."
