Paddy goes again at Saints

PADDY Coupar is returning for his fourth season as head coach of Dumfries Saints men’s squad.

He will once again be supported by Mark McClatchey as assistant coach.

This dynamic duo is back to build on an incredibly strong previous campaign.

Last year, they guided both the Men’s 1st XV and Men’s 2nd XV to second-place finishes in their respective leagues.

With just a single, agonising point denying them promotion, the duo has unfinished business.

The club also announced that Richard Kuehnel is returning as head coach for the women’s squad. He will be flanked by Liam Dewar and Scott MacLellan as assistant coaches.

Meanwhile, ex-Saints star Gregor Hiddleston made his first Scotland senior debut in their win over Fiji.
