Obstacle course leads the fun at Youth Beatz

A MASSIVE inflatable obstacle course will be one of the highlights at this year’s Youth Beatz in Dumfries.

The Realm, pictured, is over 180m long, and features slides, tunnels and more.

It will be open between 12 noon and 6 pm on both event days and open to young people up to 16 years of age, entered by height.

There will also be a mobile zipline that will allow you to fly 100m over the site at speeds of up to 21 mph – either solo or race a friend!

In addition, the Galloway Activity Centre will be bringing a selection of their popular activities, from a pop-up mountain biking arena and climbing wall, to zorb football.

There will also be an inflatable area featuring a rodeo, pole joust, rock and roller, big slide and bungee run, as well as a nine-hole mini golf course and a tent kitted out with VR equipment. Target Wrestling will be putting on performances in the wrestling tent both days and there will be target practice courtesy of the Ice Bowl.

Workshops on water safety, fire safety, road safety, and CPR will be run by firefighters too.

All daytime activities are free, and will be open to all ticketholders at Park Farm on Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 July from 12–6 pm.
