Nominate your local sporting heroes

Nithsdale Sports Council in partnership with the Active Schools and Community Sport team from Dumfries and Galloway Council are organising the Nithsdale Sports Awards Ceremony. It covers the sporting year 2015-16 and will be held at the Cairndale Hotel on August 26. Nominations are being sought for teams or individuals who deserve recognition for their success in or commitment to local sport. Categories are: Male Sports Personality of the Year Female Sports Personality of the Year Disability Sports Personality of the Year Young Male Sports Personality of the Year Young Female Sports Personality of the Year Coach of the Year Award Junior Team of the Year Award Disability Coach of the Year Team of the Year Award Club Volunteer of the Year Club of the Year Award McMurdo Award for Services to Local Sport Nomination forms and tickets are available via email from [email protected]
