Motorhome man sought by police

A MAN who made off with a motorhome from an Asda car park is being sought by police.

The motorhome was taken from the Galashiels Asda on Tuesday and driven to the Moffat area, where it was abandoned neat to Hunterbeck Farm, north of the town.

A police spokesman said: “There has been no trace of the man.

“The motorhome was stolen from the Asda car park in Galashiels earlier that day.

“We were passed a lookout for it and had officers in the Moffat area on the A708 when we got the report of it being dumped and man taking off.

“Didn’t manage to catch him though however secured and recovered the motorhome.”
