More searches at Mull of Galloway for missing man

THE search goes on in Galloway for missing man Ernestas Dagys.

HM Coastguard – Portpatrick, Stranraer Coastguard, Ballantrae Coastguard Rescue Team, HM Coastguard – Drummore and Police Scotland have been out looking for him in Wigtownshire.

Searches have taken place in the Mull Of Galloway area and surrounding bays and beaches.

Inspector Stephen Judge said: “I’m appealing for any information which may help us trace Ernestas.

“Following enquiries, we believe he travelled to the Mull of Galloway area on Sunday, 25 February.

“If you’ve been in the area since Sunday, please think back. Did you see someone matching his description? Please get in touch with any information you have.

“Ernestas, if you see this appeal, please make contact with police so we can ensure you’re safe and well.”

Ernestas is described as white, around five foot eight tall, of slim build with short brown hair. When last seen he was wearing a black jacket, grey tracksuit bottoms and black trainers.

Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting reference 1241 of 27 February.
