A NEW documentary on the Lockerbie bombing has been made available on streaming sites.

‘Since: The Bombing of Pan Am Flight 103’ was directed by Phil Furey back in 2015, but it was only released in December last year.

The director said: “Abandoned by the United States government in their hour of need, American families of the dead weaponised the media and refused to let the matter be swept under the rug.

“With nothing left to lose, they demanded answers for the crime, brought down the once-iconic Pan Am World Airways for its negligence, and changed forever the way governments handled victims of terrorism.

“Along the way, they found the comfort they needed not from elected officials, but from the small, quiet Scottish village of Lockerbie, which lost eleven of its own citizens when the wreckage of Pan Am Flight 103 rained down upon it.”

And he is keen to get feedback from viewers and added: “Word-of-mouth will help us reach more viewers, and will help keep the important story of Pan Am Flight 103 alive for future generations.”
