Langholm schools closed due to heating failure

LANGHOLM Academy has been closed temporarily due to a heating failure caused by adverse weather. Announced by Dumfries and Galloway Council earlier today, both Langholm Academy and Primary School have been affected by this failure as a result of the weather. It is expected that Langholm Academy will re-open on Wednesday January 24 at 7.30 am, and Langholm Primary School will re-open on the same day at 7 am. This closure follows a similar closure which took place last week due to a burst pipe. Other schools across the region have also been forced to close today due to the stormy weather causing damages and complications.
