Langholm Schools closed due to burst pipe

LANGHOLM Academy has been closed temporarily due to the cold weather. Announced by Dumfries and Galloway Council earlier today, both Langholm Academy and Primary School have been affected by a burst pipe, and will be closed for the day. It is expected that both schools will re-open as usual at 8 am on Monday.

Meanwhile, other schools in the region have also been closed during the week due to heating failures in relation to the cold spell.
