Kind-hearted Logan in charity hair chop
AN EIGHT-YEAR old boy from Lochmaben has proved he’s a cut above the rest after cutting off his long locks for charity. Logan Booth had been growing his hair out for the past four years and decided to get it cut in aid of The Little Princess Trust, a charity that provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions such as alopecia. The idea of donating his luscious locks came after a conversation between Logan and his mum Erin. She said: “At first Logan started growing his hair out because he didn’t want a hair cut and he quite liked having long hair. One day about a year ago we were talking and I told him that sometimes people donate their hair to make wigs for children who don’t have hair because of illness, and we looked it up and saw that it costs £700 to make one wig and from then Logan decided that’s what he wanted to do. “He loved his long hair and rocked a man bun so it really was a big thing for him.”
