A MAN has today been found guilty of the murder of Dumfries mum Jean Hanlon in Crete 17 years ago.
It follows a three-day trial at the Lasithi Mixed Assize Court, attended by her three sons, who broke down in tears when the verdict was delivered.
A jury found a local man guilty of Jean's death, whose body was found floating in the port of Heraklion in March 2009.
