Jane was Pur-fect community councillor

AN OUTGOING community councillor has been praised for her work in the town. Jane Purdie stepped down from the Lochmaben Community Council after a number of years involved with the group. During her time, Jane played a key role in helping residents with issues with the town’s chemist/pharmacy. Rebecca Kirkpatrick said: “A big thank you to Mrs Purdie for all her work on the community council the past few years, especially fighting for the much-improved service at Well Pharmacy.”
