BECOME one with nature at the Glentrool Forest Festival this weekend.

The two-day event at Glentrool Hive will bring together a wide range of workshops and activities.

Highlights of the event include a hands-on workshop where participants spin their very own skein of beautiful forest-inspired wool yarn using only, hand-picked and hand-processed wool from farms in the area.

Meanwhile, outdoor play enthusiasts, UnderSky, will be providing lots of fun, active games and challenges for primary aged children all inspired by Scottish wildlife. There’ll be running, balancing, hopping, catching and wiggling with plenty of giggles too. Plus, meet the minibeasts with an interactive display and free outdoor activities handout to take away and play again another day.

There will also be live music from The Barrstools and Kissing the Flint will be performing during the weekend.

More information can be found on the Glentrool Hive website.
