FOUR Olympians will take part in the Tour of Britain, which passes through the region this weekend.

Fresh from Rio, Sir Bradley Wiggins, Mark Cavendish, Elia Viviani and Owain Doull will all compete in the event.
It kicks off in Glasgow on Sunday with the stage one finish line 168km down the road in Castle Douglas.
Ten thousand spectators are expected to flock to the market town to get a glimpse of the cycling stars.
Also taking part will be European stars Tom Dumoulin, Wout Poels, Giacomo Nizzolo and Andre Greipe.
Tour of Britain race director Mick Bennett said: “The Tour of Britain has grown from then to be one of the world’s top events, and this year we are particularly delighted to see several of our successful Olympians racing, just a couple of weeks after their exploits in Rio.
“I am confident that the size and scale of the Tour of Britain is almost unrecognisable from that of 2006, with our largest ever field of 126 riders, and three-hours of live tv coverage at home and around the planet.”
