House at centre of A7 crash to be knocked down

A HOUSE on the border which was hit by a milk tanker last week is to be demolished.

The property sits alongside the A7 near Scots Dyke and sustained serious structural damage when an HGV left the road and ploughed into it last Wednesday afternoon.

The tanker driver, a man in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene. He has not yet been officially named but floral tributes have been left where the collision occurred.
