TWENTY five members of the Dumfries and Galloway farming community were part of the Farmers’ Choir which performed at the Scottish Parliament last week.

Highlighting the issues in rural welfare, the choir’s performance was a focal point of the evening, hosted by South Scotland MSP Emma Harper to highlight the issues faced when living and working in Scotland’s rural communities.

The choir is pictured with Ms Harper, as well as Galloway and West Dumfries MSP Finlay Carson and Teresa Dougall from NFUS
