Classic motor ship MV Balmoral, who has returned to service after a three year lay up, will depart from Garlieston on Sunday and Monday, destination the Isle of Man.
MV Balmoral made her maiden voyage last Friday on her home waters of the Bristol Channel and is now heading north.
She is a member of Britain’s national historic fleet and is historically and culturally significant, having carried members of the Royal family in the past.
A spokesman for the charitable trust which operates the boat said: “She looks magnificent and has performed just brilliantly over five very successful days sailing.
“These really are very rare opportunities to sail from the tiny harbour at Garlieston and to be able to sail direct to the Isle of Man and we hope they will be taken up and enjoyed by many.
“We do hope that it will also help to stimulate the local economy by attracting visitors.”
