GREYHOUNDS: Dexter's summer winning streak

A SUMMER winning streak was maintained by veteran Halcrow Stadium trainer Dexter Clark at Gretna greyhound racing on Friday night.

His kennels produced three comfortable wins on good going over the 280 metres trip.

Taking the honours were Joe Pep, Spectre and Magnet, reflecting a successful strike rate for the Solway Coast kennel which saw both Spectre and Magnet also win the previous week.

There was a repeat triumph too for Frannie Hill’s Hawick dog Canny Make It, which had the edge in the 8.30 sprint race, being confirmed after a photo inspection as winner by ‘a neck.’

Finally, racing fans can check on recent form by going online to the DnG24 Gretna racing archive at https://www.dng24.co.uk/?s=greyhounds
