POLICE have closed off Whitesands car park in Dumfries as flooding hits the area.
They have also urged anyone parked by the river to move their vehicle in a post on Facebook alongside a video showing water spilling into the car park.
A flood warning was issued earlier by the Scottish Environment Protection Agency, which is now no longer in force.
