Farming + menopause

MENOPAUSE in farming is to be the subject of an online discussion event. Farmstrong Scotland have organised the free Let’s Talk About Menopause session on November 10 via Zoom. It will feature guests Dr Heather Currie MBE, above, consultant gynaecologist and founder of Menopause Matters; and Jane Thomson, crofter and land liaison specialist. A Farmstrong spokesperson said: “We’ll share real stories, expert advice and honest chat about how menopause shows up in agriculture, what helps, and why talking about it matters for everyone. “Just grab a cuppa and join us from your kitchen table, tractor cab or sofa.”
