Donations boost means trip is a go

LANGHOLM Academy’s trip to London will go ahead after re- ceiving a £1,000 donation.

CWP Energy has provided additional funds for the planned educational trip, which is expected to take place in 2027.

Speaking on behalf of Langholm Academy, Stuart Clement, said: “We are extremely grateful to CWP Energy for its generous support.”

Marketing Manager at CWP Energy, Sarah Wood, said: “We are delighted to support Langholm Academy and hope that our contribution towards the 2027 trip will enable students to enjoy an enriching and memorable experience.”

CWP said the financial support is part of its ongoing commitment to supporting local communities and investing in experiences for young people, aiming to provide lasting memories that go beyond the classroom.
