Deputy Lord Lieutenant pays tribute

Deputy Lord Lieutenant Hardip Atwal, of Annan, said: "Earlier this year I had the great honour of being appointed Deputy Lord Lieutenant to represent Her Majesty The Queen. "I was deeply saddened to hear of her passing today. She was a dedicated leader to both our nation and the Commonwealth and my heart goes out to her family at this sad time."
