Could you be an AgriScot speaker?
BUSINESSES, organisations and individuals from this area are being invited to apply to the AgriScot seminar programme.
As AgriScot prepares to celebrate its 25th anniversary this November, the event is marking the milestone by opening up its seminar programme for the very first time.
The organisers want to reflect the extraordinary diversity of people, ideas and innovation shaping Scottish and British agriculture today.
They want compelling sessions run by engaging speakers with strong narratives, personal journeys or credible data; good use of visuals rather than text-heavy slides; and sessions that pair vision with evidence, research or trials.
Diversity of voices is actively encouraged, particularly for panel-format applications, and organisers are placing strong emphasis on practical takeaways - the ideas, connections and insights that attendees expect from AgriScot, and can take back and apply directly within their own businesses and organisations.
Topics should be timely, relevant and accessible to a broad agricultural audience, with sessions that inspire, provide practical insight or support the future innovation of the industry considered most favourably.
Scheduled for November 18 in Edinburgh, AgriScot will be attended by thousands of visitors, exhibitors and industry professionals.
The seminar spots will be awarded through a competitive application process, with a limited number of places on offer.
Gilmour Lawrie, chairman at AgriScot, said: “Twenty-five years is a significant milestone, and we wanted to mark it in a way that truly reflects where agriculture is today. Opening up our seminar programme feels like the right way to do that, bringing in new perspectives, new voices and new ideas that will inspire and challenge our audience.”
Applications are now open until the end of June and can be submitted online at https://agriscot.co.uk/seminar-applications/
