Constable crowned Britain's Strongest Police Officer
STRONG ARM OF THE LAW. . . Police Constable Douglas Black

BAD guys, watch out! A cop from the region has been crowned Britain’s Strongest Police Officer.

PC Douglas Black won the competition held in Shrewsbury.

It comprised five events and was the heaviest competition to date.

PC Black not only won the overall competition but managed to set a new record by pressing 140KG in the Maximum Log Press event.

And it means the next contest will now come to Scotland.

He met up with Chief Superintendent Carol McGuire to share his story and was congratulated on his victory and ‘amazing achievement’ by her and his colleagues
