Charity choir back in tune

THE Friends of Huntingtons charity choir, which has members from the Dumfries and Annan areas, are back singing after the covid layoff.

A spokesman said this week: “We have been practising over the last few weeks and are ready to perform once more.”

Over the last few years the choir has raised money for Huntington’s Disease research as well as other local causes.

Their first appearance for over two years will be supporting Tenors Unlimited, who are appearing at the Theatre Royal in Dumfries on Friday May 13.

In early June they are singing at Southerness Holiday Park and will also be back at the Theatre Royal in October for a Kylie tribute evening.

The choir would like to hear from anyone interested in joining their choir or who would like them to perform.

They can be contacted on Facebook – search for ‘Friends of Huntingtons Scotland’.
