In the pedigree section, it was Upperffrydd Power who literally powered through to the Overall Pedigree Championship. In the run up to the event there had been increasing speculation whether this three-year old bull would lift the title, having already claimed championships at the Royal Welsh and Great Yorkshire Shows this season. He is sired by the record-breaking price Trueman Jagger, who won the last National Show in 2016, and out of the noted Foxhillfarm Joslyn.
