Police launch raid probe

AN AREA behind a shop in Annan was taped off by police this morning — investigating what is believed to be an attempted break-in.

Officers were called to the Savers Health and Beauty shop in the town’s High Street at about 8.30 am.
And an area behind the building was cordoned off shortly afterwards.
Shoppers arriving at 9 am were left waiting for the store to open, with the shop shut as police continued their investigations.
