Man in court after stabbing

A MAN has made a brief appearance in court at Dumfries following a stabbing incident at the weekend at Locharbriggs.

Craig Landsborough, 29, from Dumfries, was on a petition in private before Sheriff George Jamieson on Monday.
He was on a charge alleging an assault to severe injury and permanent disfigurement.
No plea or declaration was made and the case was continued for further examination.
He was allowed bail.
