Bikers on seasonal tour to help kids

MORE than 100 bikers from all over Dumfries and Galloway turned out for the annual Motorcycle Toy Run in Dumfries today.

Motorcyclist set off from Thornhill, Castle Douglas, Moffat and Dumfries.

The bikers met up at The Queen of the South FC car park at Palmerston before they made their way into  Dumfries town centre.

They then collected unwrapped Christmas gifts which will be donated to Social Services for distribution to children across the region.

Some of the bikers were in fancy dress with members of one group dressed up as Santa, Batman and Robin.

The event, which has been running since 1989, is organised by Dumfries and Galloway IAM Motorcycle Group.
