Home Cup tie for Queens

QUEEN of the South have been handed a home draw in the semi-final of the IrnBru Cup.

They will play fellow Championship side Dundee United at Palmerston Park, Dumfries next February.
Ten days ago Queens crashed 4-1 to Dundee United in a league match at Palmerston and two days later manager Gavin Skelton left the club for ‘personal reason.’
Queens ended their losing streak on Saturday when they beat Alloa Athletic 2-0 to book their place in the semi-final of the IrnBru Cup.
The draw for the semi-final draw was made at Toryglen Regional Football Centre this afternoon.
The other semi-final is between St Mirren and The New Saints.
The fixtures are as follows:
Queen of the South v Dundee United
St Mirren v The New Saints
The Semi-final ties are scheduled for the weekend of February 18/19, with the final on the weekend of March 25/26.
