A HORSEBOX has been broken into and a camera and USB stick were stolen.

It happened between 8 am and 6 pm on Monday in Longacres Road, Kirkcudbright.

Police want to speak to anyone who witnessed people hanging around the horsebox on Monday and Constable Nikki Robinson at Dalbeattie Police Office said: “Our enquiries have revealed that there was a black Ford Focus car seen in the area at this time and I urge the driver or anyone else who saw the car to contact police as soon as possible.”
