Woman hurt in trailer accident

A WOMAN was taken to hospital afterbeing struck by a trailer in Lincluden on Saturday July 11. 

Fire, police and air ambulance crews attended the scene at Criffel Road on Sat- urday morning when a trailer detached from a tractor and veered off into a near-by garden. It has been reported that the woman has returned back home since. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10.55 am on Saturday, July 11.

2026, officers received a report of a crash involving a trailer and a pedestrian on Criffel Road, Dumfries.

“A woman was taken to hospital. The road was closed and later reopened.”
