Polling stations will be open across the region up until 10 pm tonight - but thousands of people have already sent in their postal votes, like Alastair Barr, 83, pictured above left with Alastair MacDonald, 82, both from Moffat. The count takes place at the Easterbrook Hall in Dumfries tomorrow and our reporting teams will be there covering the results.
