Town roadworks ongoing

CHAOS is set to continue for road users in Annan. SP Energy Networks’ excavation and cable installation works on Scott’s Street remain ongoing, with Stapleton Road closed and four-way traffic lights in place. And the same company has dug up the road again at the junction of Standalane and Shawhill Road, with three-way traffic lights in place. The work here is expected to last here for another week, at least. Elsewhere, SGN are set to start work on Charles Street to disconnect a gas supply. Works will last for ten working days.
