Summer fete fun
THERE will be fun and games in Brydekirk next Sunday, July 20, as the Village Hall and Playing Field Committee host their first Summer Fete.
It is something that the groups hope can become a tradition for years to come.
The event will take place from 12-4 pm at the village playing field and there will be something for everyone to enjoy, including carnival games, raffles and tombola and football fun with Annan Athletic Ladies. Donkeys and owls will also be paying a visit.
There will also be face painting, glitter tattoos and carnival hair in the children’s tent alongside entertainer Stu-Di-Doo.
You can also have a go on the slip and slide if you are feeling brave enough, or enjoy one of the rides from Pott’s Amusements.
Those in attendance will be able to grab a drink and a seat in the beer tent or get a bite to eat at one of the many food vendors.
Everyone is welcome and entry is free to all, it is going to be a brilliant day and the community groups hope to see a good turnout.
