Star-t date delayed

A DELAY to the start of construction has been reported by the Star of Caledonia team.

In an update this week, Lucy Houston broke the news that the timeline has altered slightly.

She said: “We are working through a long list of planning conditions which need to be discharged, and sorting out the last of the funding requirements. These all take time sadly so we are looking at a short delay in the construction phase.

“Realistically we anticipate that this will be in about six months time.

I know that this may be disappointing (it is to us too!) but having waited so long for this project to happen - another few months isn’t too bad.”
