South season enters final stretch

IT was a day to forget for Lochmaben last Saturday after they suffered a trouncing 6-1 defeat to Dalbeattie Star in the South of Scotland League. Jordan Atkinson scored the consolation goal for the Burgh. This weekend Mids travel to Creetown in the Haig Gordon Memorial Trophy quarter final, kick off at Castle Cary Park is at 2 pm.

Meanwhile, Lochmaben are without a fixture. Elsewhere, there are some big fixtures at the top of the table tomorrow afternoon. Current unbeaten league leaders Stranraer Reserves entertain second place Lochar Thistle, while third place Dalbeattie Star visit Abbey Vale.
