Sing along was spectacular

THE hall at St Andrew’s on Bank Street, Annan, was alive with the Sound of Music as, courtesy of digital technology, the attendees were treated to a singalong karaoke event to the wonderful soundtrack of the Rodgers and Hammerstein classic. During the evening quiz master Phyllis Kirkwood challenged attendees on their general knowledge on the famous musical and there were numerous prizes, including one for best dressed, which Scott Rogerson won with his sister’s habit emulating the famous nuns in the movie. Rounding off with an evening tea of hot cross buns courtesy of the social committee. A great time was had by all.
