Powfoot rideout in pictures

IT was near perfect conditions for the Annan Riding of the Marches Powfoot Rideout on Wednesday. A strong turnout of riders came out in the evening sun- shine to take part. And the principals led the cavalcade out onto the shore for the gallop along the sands in front of big crowds. Just three ride- outs remain before the big day on Sat- urday July 5. The first of those takes place on Tuesday, June 17, with the Cornet’s Lass Ride- out – Brydekirk. More photos in this week's paper.
